Nature spectator!

Since I love nature, I have decided to be a spectator of all biotic and abiotic things around me. First, I have decided to visit the The Kathleen Gonzales Memorial Water-Wise Garden located at the Casa Blanca library, that is close to my house. Since I enjoy going there, because it is a quiet place where I can walk my dog. The garden provides water-saving ideas that people can incorporate into landscape design and gardening practices in their own homes. It is an educational exhibit displaying plants that can be purchased locally and examples of water saving techniques. However, being there, I started my adventure of being a nature spectator for at least 30 minutes or an hour, this happened last Thursday, March 20, at the afternoon.

First, I have listened to the birds, many birds song. I wasn't lucky at all while trying to take pictures of them; nor while trying to get one of the hummingbirds. The garden is full of flowers, so quietly, I noticed a bee inside a white rose, she was working, I have named her Lola.

Around me, there were many other plants and flower, that suddenly moved with the wind. I have compared the scenario as an orchestra. Everybody was there playing an important role in nature. I have seen many ants, of course, they were working as a team group: a good lesson for humans.

Then, my pet who also loves to go the garden, has sat in front of me as asking me: Why are you sitting here? It was a good time to take a picture of him. We were facing each other for almost 10 minutes, then, he has decided to keep exploring the same places again.

The garden also has a fountain with lots of abiotic rocks around it. Bony was getting desperate of walking, but he had waited very patiently. I have seen a couple of birds drinking water from the fountain. One of them was a kind of afraid of reaching the water. The other one seemed a kind of self confident while drinking it. For a moment I have thought in a mom-child relationship, maybe the little one was being trained by mom? 

After completing my 45 minutes there as spectator, I have decided to walk Bony, he deserved it after waiting for me. By the time I was walking him, I was paying attention to the sunset, the weather, the wind, the trees, the flowers, the fountain, the bees, the ants, the birds, and many other biotic and abiotic things that live there. Nature doesn't stop, because nature is life. I have learned many things while being a nature spectator. My best advise is invite you to be one when you have free time. You will enjoy the experience.
